NEZ PERCE COUNTY, Idaho – A person is dead after succumbing to their wounds in a fatal two-car head-on crash in the US 12.
On April 16, at around 7:12 a.m., Idaho State Police responded to a two-vehicle head-on collision eastbound on US 12 near milepost 17 in Nez Perce County, Idaho.
The truck was traveling eastbound on US 12 when it crossed the center line and collided head-on with a Kenworth semi-truck.
Idaho State Police said the truck driver succumbed to his injuries, while the semi-truck driver was transported by ground ambulance. His condition is unknown.
This is an ongoing investigation.
