1 injured after car crashes into motorcycle near Mazama on State Route 20

MAZAMA, Wash. – A person driving a motorcycle was injured when a car crashed into him on State Route 20.

According to a memo released by the Washington State Patrol (WSP), a 67-year-old man from British Columbia was driving a motorcycle west on State Route 20 near milepost 178 at around 3:30 p.m. on Friday, July 19.

WSP stated that a car traveling west on SR 20 slowed down to make a turn onto Early Winters Drive and collided with the motorcycle driver.

The motorcycle driver was injured and transported to a nearby hospital. His condition is currently unknown. The driver of the car and the passenger were uninjured.

WSP mentioned that no drugs or alcohol were involved but is still investigating the crash at this time.
