CHELAN, Wash. — One person was injured after a crash on U.S. Highway 2 in Chelan County on Saturday afternoon.
According to a release from the Washington State Patrol (WSP), a 36-year-old man driving a car hit a 58-year-old man on a motorcycle head-on around 4 p.m. on May 11.
The motorcyclist was driving eastbound on U.S. Highway 2 when the 26-year-old man pulled out from a private road and hit him. Both vehicles came to a stop in the eastbound lane, and the 58-year-old motorcyclist was airlifted to the hospital.
According to WSP, there were no drugs or alcohol involved in this crash, and the motorcyclist was wearing a helmet
This crash is currently under investigation.
