SPOKANE, Wash. — One person is dead after suffering a medical episode while driving.
According to the Washington State Patrol, 82-year-old Jerry Fraley was driving southbound on U.S. Highway 2 at milepost 313 when he turned into a private parking lot and started having a medical emergency. The car continued to move and stopped in a field nearby.
No drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash, and it is unknown if he was wearing a seatbelt.
