MOSES LAKE, Wash. – Three deputies returned to work following disciplinary action after investigations into two deputy involved crashes.
The first crash happened in December 2023 involved two deputies and the second crash in January 2024 involving one deputy.
All of the deputies received remedial driver training from the county’s risk management pool
The investigations from the Moses Lake Police Department and an internal investigation by the Grant County Sheriff’s Office decided on the following actions.
One Deputy received a traffic infraction (aka traffic ticket, a non-criminal violation of the law).Two Deputies received written reprimands.One Deputy received a suspension from work.
All three deputies have returned to full duty.
