DAVENPORT, Wash. – In Davenport, a car crash involving two cars occurred eight miles west of the town, .
According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), on the evening of May 3rd at 8:56 p.m., a car driven by a 63-year-old from Kennewick was traveling eastbound on State Route 2 when it crashed with another car occupied by two teenagers—an 18-year-old driver and a 13-year-old passenger—who were traveling on the westbound side of the route.
The man’s car rolled over, while the other car came to a stop on the side of the roadway.
Emergency services airlifted the man to Sacred Heart Medical Hospital, while the two teens were transported to Lincoln Medical Hospital. Their current conditions remain unknown.
The Washington State Patrol indicated that the man could face charges of two counts of vehicular assault and that he was drunk during the incident.
