3 people injured following 6-car crash in Ephrata

EPHRATA, Wash. — Three people are injured after a crash in Ephrata.

According to a Facebook post from the Ephrata Police Department (EPD), the crash happened in a Walmart parking lot where six cars, a boat, and a trailer hit each other around 12:15 p.m. on June 2.

A 40-year-old woman was airlifted to the hospital for a broken arm and other injuries. A 14-year-old girl was also taken to the hospital for minor injuries. The 70-year-old woman who caused the crash is also being treated for injuries.

After investigating the scene, EPD believes that the woman who caused the accident was experiencing a medical issue just prior to the crash.
