WHITMAN COUNTY, Wash. — Whitman County residents will have a chance to weigh in their opinions on the proposed wind farms.
Whitman County Commissioners are holding two meetings on Monday, one at 9:30 a.m. and the other at 4 p.m. You can join either a meeting at the courthouse or via Zoom.
The meeting was organized after Steelhead America proposed building 45 wind turbines near the National Landmark. The company argues that the $300 million deal will provide electricity to 90,000 homes.
