CLAYTON, Wash. – Four people were injured, one critically injured, in a three-car crash near Clayton.
According to Stevens County Fire District 1, firefighters received a call at 5:30 p.m. regarding a crash at Swenson Road and Highway 395 intersection. The Washington State Patrol is investigating the accident.
Stevens County firefighters reported that the highway/intersection remained closed at 7 p.m., but was reopened late last night according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
Stevens County Fire District 1 said they received assistance from Spokane Fire District 4, Deer Park Ambulance, Chewelah Rural Ambulance and Stevens County Sheriff Deputies.
The cause of the crash is under investigation and the status of the people injured haven’t been released to the media yet.
