SPOKANE, Wash. — A 4-year-old was hospitalized after being hit by a car near Garfield on Saturday.
According to the Whitman County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO), a homeowner attempted to back their car into their driveway. WCSO said the child was riding a bike near the driveway entrance when they were hit.
The 4-year-old was taken to the hospital via Life Flight with serious, non life-threatening injuries.
This incident remains under investigation.
