CHEWELAH, Wash. – The Washington State Patrol responded to a two-car crash that killed a 6-month-old baby on Monday morning just south of Chewelah.
WSP responded to the crash around 10:30 a.m. on HWY 395 near milepost 200 with reports of a two-car collision.
A roadblock was put in place for several hours, closing down both directions of the highway as crews responded to the passengers.
The conditions of the drivers are unknown at this time, and the road has since reopened.
