IDAHO FALLS, Idaho – A car crash on US-20 near milepost 308 in Idaho Falls resulted in six people dead and ten others injured.
According to the Idaho State Police (ISP), a pickup truck was driving east on US-20 near the Lindsay Boulevard exit. It drove left of the center and hit a van that was headed west.
ISP stated that the driver of the van along with the five passengers in the van succumbed to their injuries and died on the scene. ISP said the nine other passengers of the van were injured and transported to a local hospital.
Both lanes were blocked for five hours while crews cleared the scene. The crash is under investigation.
