SPOKANE, Wash. — A 78-year-old man died at the hospital after a car crash that occurred on Sunday.
According to a spokesperson from the Washington State Patrol, the man, identified as Kenneth Petersen, was traveling southbound on State Route 2, two miles north of Spokane, when he struck a concrete island, lost control of his car and crashed.
He was transported to a local hospital but was pronounced dead on Wednesday.
