SPOKANE, Wash. – A man was found dead in the road in Spokane’s West Central neighborhood early Monday morning, and Spokane Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit (MCU) has taken over the investigation.
Around 5:30 a.m. on Dec. 5, Spokane police received a call of a man lying in the roadway near North Pettet Drive and West Nora Avenue. The caller told police the man appeared injured.
Despite life-saving efforts from first responders, the man died at the scene. MCU has not determined if the man was involved in a crash.
The Spokane Medical Examiners Office will release the identity of the man at a later date.
