SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. – Two pets are dead after a house caught fire in Spokane Valley Wednesday night.
Just after 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 14, Spokane Valley Fire Station 6 responded to reports of a home on fire. Emergency responders observed visible smoke and flames, upgrading the call to a working fire.
The Spokane Valley Fire Department responded to assist. No one was injured in this fire, but SVFD confirmed two pets died as a result of the flames.
The Red Cross has stepped in to help the family.
The cause of this fire remains under investigation.
