SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) is investigating after a man was found dead near Rockford.
According to SCSO, deputies responded to the report of a dead man on the side of Highway 27 north of East Baker Road around 2:45 p.m. on March 11. The caller told SCSO the man appeared to have been at the location for a while.
Initial information indicates there was no foul play involved. SCSO said investigators believe the man could be a missing person who hasn’t been seen since March 7.
The Spokane County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the name, along with the cause of death, at a later time.
This is an active investigation.
