COEUR D’ALENE – Kootenai Health reported the discovery of potentially nefarious activity in their digital infrastructure network on Wednesday.
According to the care provider, all affected systems were isolated and a cybersecurity team was brought on to investigate the incident.
“We are pleased to report that there was no impact on our operations or ability to serve our patients and community,” Kootenai Health said.
The investigation will continue as experts assess how the data breach occurred and whether any important information was stolen.
