SPOKANE, Wash. – after an argument led to the woman suspect reportedly stealing a car, shooting a gun and fleeing police.
Police say that a male victim and a female were in a car together driving in Middleton at around 3:45 p.m.
Police, an altercation occurred, which eventually led to the woman suspect pulling out a gun and trying to steal the male’s vehicle.
SPD says that a struggle ensued, which led to possible gunshots being fired and the male victim exiting the car.
Police then say the man tried to stop her from stealing the car but was hit by the female driver.
Spokane police then said the woman fled and picked up two other people who also had outstanding warrants.
Police then say they spotted the female suspect in the car and tried to stop her, but instead of stopping, she fled police and pursuit was engaged.
Spokane police tried to stop the vehicle using spikes and eventually succeeded in stopping it using a pit maneuver.
The SPD detained three people, including the two passengers the female suspect picked up.
Police are now obtaining a search warrant for the suspect’s vehicle.
The male victim was transported to the hospital, but his condition remains unknown.
