KOOTENAI COUNTY, Wash. — The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing 3-year-old girl.
Kassidy Shannon was last seen on Forest Service Road 413 and Forest Service Road 434 around 3:15 p.m. KCSO said she was wearing a pink long-sleeve shirt and khaki pants. Shannon is three feet tall, about 28 pounds and has blonde hair and blue eyes.
K9 units are en route and will work a search grid. You are asked to avoid the area, as more bodies in the grid will damage their track.
“If you are in the area please be mindful of the developing search operations and please keep an eye out for Kassidy if you are out recreating. As our resources are focused inward toward the last known location please keep your eyes peeled outward,” KCSO said.
