SPOKANE, Wash. – A shooting reportedly took place near Shadle High School at about 7 pm on Thursday.
A track team which was practicing on a Shadle Park field heard what they believed to be several shots being fired nearby.
Roads and streets near West Longfellow Avenue are currently blocked off.
A press conference hosted by the Spokane Police Department to explain the incident is planned for later Thursday night.
