AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. – Airway Heights is renovating a 40,000-square-foot public safety campus.
The $8 million project was announced in Oct. 2023 and will be funded by a bond approved by Airway Heights voters in August of that year. The City of Airway Heights offered additional details on the edifice last year.
“Designed to meet the growing demand for services, the new 3.1-acre facility will house the fire, police, and city government offices. Construction is set to begin next year, with plans to be completed in 2025,” the city said.
After a bidding process with general contractors, construction will begin in May according to the Airway Heights Fire Department.
As of late April the project is still set to be completed by the spring of 2025.
