SPOKANE, Wash. – River Park Square and Nordstrom celebrated 50 years of operation in the Inland Northwest on Friday.
Nordstrom Inc co-president Pete Nordstrom was in attendance, as were several prominent Spokane business leaders.
The downtown Spokane location was opened in 1999 after moving from the initial West Main store which opened the same year as Expo ‘74.
River Park Square also opened in 1974 and has served as a central business hub for the Lilac City ever since.
