Gonzaga president Thayne McCulloh to retire after next year

SPOKANE, Wash. – Gonzaga University President Thayne McCulloh announced today that he will retire after the next academic year.

Thayne, the university president for 15 years, announced his retirement in an email to Gonzaga’s student body.

“After 30-plus years working at Gonzaga, we together look forward to new post-retirement opportunities and adventures. Gonzaga is on the cusp of many new and exciting possibilities, and we look forward to celebrating these with you!”

The email also states that he will work with the Board of Trustees to find help for the university’s next president.

Gonzaga University President Thayne McCulloh will retire after the next academic year.
