SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Fire Department is currently responding to a crash on the westbound lanes of I-90 near Thor and Freya.
Ther crash happened around 7:40 a.m. and is causing significant traffic delays and a left lane closure for westbound traffic.
There is also construction currently in the area contributing to the traffic delay. according to the Washington Department of Transportation the Thor-Freya Exit 283B near the accident is closed until the end of May.
Injuries from the crash are unknown at this time. Crews are working to clear the accident to restore traffic flow.
There is a second crash along westbound I-90 that resulted in an injury causing a full roadblock. The crash between a semi-truck and a car occurred near Argonne Road.
The Washington State Patrol has rerouted traffic and do not have a timeline of reopening.
It is unknown the extent of the injuries at this time.
