Two children removed from life support after West Central house fire

SPOKANE, Wash. – The two children trapped in a house fire in Spokane’s West Central neighborhood were removed from life support, the family announced on Friday.

, at 4:10 a.m., the Spokane Fire Department responded to a house fire in the 1700 block of Howard. Crews arrived and saw the home heavily engulfed in flames.

Fire crews accessed the home through the second floor, finding four victims. , Arielle and Robert Desislets, died as a result of the fire.

The Spokane Fire Department released the cause of the , which was an electrical fire.

There is an online fundraiser set up to support the family of the victims.
