SPOKANE, Wash. — Hundreds of people lined up to try a ramen recipe that takes almost a week to make.
April 28, 2024, marked the 37th Ramen Fest at the Spokane Buddhist Temple. People got to taste and enjoy a traditional Japanese recipe made with noodles, pork, chicken or tofu, vegetables, and a broth that takes six days to make.
Each bowl cost $15 and proceeds went towards the Temple’s programs and support the education of its minister assistants. Public tours of the Temple were also offered.
