SPOKANE, Wash. — The second man involved in shooting a Spokane Police Officer in 2022 was sentenced to four decades in prison.
Isaac A. Ott, 23, was arrested after police said he and Ray Wynecoop shot an officer in a drive-by shooting in June 2022.
Ott was set to start his trial but agreed to plead guilty to all charges.
Ott was sentenced to 40 years in prison for conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, six counts of first-degree assault and three counts of drive-by shooting.
and was sentenced to 65 years in prison.
“With sentencings for Ott and his accomplice Ray Wynecoop imposed this month, SPD is pleased to have a final degree of resolution and justice served around the attack,” SPD said. “We again extend our gratitude to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office and the Spokane County Prosecutor’s Office for their diligent work on this case.”
