SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane has been listed as one of the top 100 cities for best places to live according to Livability.
Spokane has a lot of great and beautiful things to offer, earning a 749 out of 1000 quality of living score. This score is determined based on a variety of factors.
The categories that contributed to its score and place on the list were environment, economy and amenities.
The environment score is based on population density, air quality and natural disaster risk.
The economy score is based on the local economy, employment opportunities and income growth rates.
The amenities score is based on access to parks, activities for a variety of interests and access to healthy food.
“Surrounded by the stunning beauty of the Inland Northwest, Spokane offers abundant outdoor activities, a friendly community, and excellent educational opportunities,” Livability said.
Other cities ranked in the top 100, located near Spokane, include Kennewick, Missoula and Boise.
