SPOKANE, Wash. – A man is in jail after backing into a bail bond enforcement agent’s car, leading to deputies discovering drugs and a felony warrant.

Ryan M. Folger, 34 from Yakima, is a seven-time convicted felon and has found himself back in jail after he backed into a bail bond enforcement agent’s car and became aggressive when confronted.

Spokane County Sheriff’s Office said they responded to an aggressive man who was armed with a pistol at the 26000 block of East River Road.

Deputies say Fogler eventually calmed down and surrendered to the deputies which then reveled his prior convictions.

Deputies checked on Folger, revealing that he had an active felony U.S. Marshal Probation Violation warrant for a weapons violation charge that happened before this incident.

Spokane County deputies also learned Folger is a seven-time convicted felon, including an Unlawful Possession of a Firearm Second Degree charges, and prohibited from legally possessing a firearm.

Deputies questioned Folger about the pistol, but he refused to respond. Deputies then asked if he had any drugs with him. He suggested that he might have some in his pocket, but no drugs were found during the search.

But deputies found later in a jail search that he had a white power substance in his underpants.

Folger was transported and booked into the Spokane County Jail on a felony warrant and a new second-degree charge, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
