Republican candidate announces Washington Legislature run to replace Rep. Marcus Riccelli

SPOKANE, Wash. – Republican candidate Tony Kiepe has tossed his hat into the ring in the race to replace State Representative Marcus Riccelli.

Kiepe unsuccessfully ran for in 2017

He registered with the Washington Public Disclosure Commission (PDC) on April 24 and loaned his own campaign $6,000 to get started according to PDC documentation.

Kiepe is an insurance professional who currently focuses on Medicare according to his campaign.

“Serving people as they enter their latter years is an absolute privilege and joy. Protecting them is my priority both through responsible products and policies in our legislature,” Kiepe said.

Two Democratic candidates, and , have also announced runs for the seat

Riccelli is running for the State Senate seat currently held by Majority Leader Andy Billig,
