BOISE, Idaho – A Sandpoint farmer won $2 million from a Powerball ticket on Wednesday.
Farmer Nathan Wood drove to Boise to secure his prize, but not before he finished his work for the day.
“I couldn’t believe it. And then, I went back to planting onions,” Wood said.
He plans on fixing his truck and investing the money responsibly.
Wood purchased the ticket at Arnie’s Payless Gas in Bonner County. The gas station will receive a $25,000 commission for selling the winning ticket.
