SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane County Democratic party avoided alienating any major candidate for office Wednesday by endorsing multiple contenders in several races.
The party posted a complete list of endorsements Wednesday. In the race to replace US Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers, Democrats endorsed both and former party chair
County Democrats also steered away from controversy on a local level, endorsing both and
took home an endorsement for governor, and State Representative Marcus Riccelli secured an easy endorsement for State Senate given that he is the only candidate in the race.
Moving into the August primaries, the county party is deferring to voters to decide between candidates rather than making its own recommendations to Spokane Democrats.
