SPOKANE, Wash. – A burglary suspect was arrested after a four-hour SWAT standoff Wednesday.
According to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, deputies and detectives approached a home and demanded that everyone inside come out with their hands up. They were searching for burglary suspect Jae Lee, who the department says refused to leave the home even after two other men exited the home.
SWAT attempted to coax Lee out of the home with chemical irritants and ultimately used a K9 to apprehend him.
Lee is currently in Spokane County Jail on a felony burglary charge. All other people who were in the house at the time were released without being arrested just after the standoff according to the sheriff’s office.
