OMAK, Wash. — Two people are injured after a crash on State Route 97 near Omak on Friday.
According to Washington State Patrol (WSP), a 58-year-old man did not stop at the intersection of State Route 97 and State Route 215 and hit a car driving eastbound on State Route 215 on May 24 around 1:12 p.m.
The 58-year-old driver and a 47-year-old woman passenger were transported to the Midvalley Hospital for their injuries.
According to WSP, another car was stopped at the intersection during the crash and was hit by debris from the collision.
WSP said no drugs or alcohol were involved in the crash. This incident is currently under investigation.
