SPOKANE, Wash. – A crash in a north Spokane neighborhood led to an arrest on Monday.
The collision took place on the intersection of North Lyons Street and West Calispel Avenue. Benjamin Birge says that he was hit by a speeding driver, causing the crash.
“There’s no reason to be going sixty miles an hour through a residential neighborhood with stop signs, it’s just absolutely insane,” Birge said.
A person appeared to be arrested by Spokane police at the scene on Monday, though what they were arrested for is unclear.
According to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, the incident remains under investigation.
