SPOKANE, Wash. – Memorial Day typically marks the beginning of the of the year for Washington drivers due to increased rates of drunk driving. This Memorial Day was no different according to Washington State Patrol (WSP).
WSP says that multiple patrol cars were hit over the long weekend by DUI suspects.
“Thankfully, our troopers were not seriously hurt,” WSP said.
