GRANT COUNTY, Wash. — Level 3 evacuations have been lowered to level 2 (Be Ready!)
Residents living those living east from Road 6.6 to Road 5 in the McConihe should be ready to evacuate but may return home.

Level 3 evacuations are issued in Grant County for a wildfire.
The Grant County Sheriff’s Office confirmed those living east from Road 6.6 to Road 5 in the McConihe area need to “Go Now!”
GCSO said the fire is about 10 acres and no structures have been lost or damaged. All affected homes have been notified and visited by deputies.
“A wind shift caused the fire to run into unburned fuel and toward homes,” GCSO said.
There is no estimated time when the evacuation will be lifted.
