Spokane, Wash. — The Spokane Pride Parade is less than a day away. It aims to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ communities in Spokane and around the world.
The Parade will start at noon on June 8 and last until 6 p.m., with further festivities extending until 9 p.m. It will take place at Riverfront Park.
A festival featuring vendors and food trucks will be held after the parade. Spokane Pride will also host a blood drive from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the bus in the Riverfront Parking lot off North Washington and North River Drive in downtown Spokane. All donors will earn points toward a $10 gift card and automatically be entered for a chance to win one of five $5,000 gift cards. (Donors must have an online donor account and be opted into Vitalant’s Donor Rewards Program to redeem points for the gift card.)
Additionally, Spokane Pride will host The Pride Reunion Show, featuring famous local drag queens such as Crystal Marché, Miss Mylar Black, and many more. The event will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Pavilion Beer Garden stage in Riverfront Park.
