Firework bans roll out across Inland Northwest

SPOKANE, Wash. – In the midst of the hottest past 12 months ever recorded and rising wildfire danger, several local governments have announced firework bans across the Northwest.

Fireworks , and can be disposed of at Spokane’s Waste to Energy Facility.

In Idaho, the City of Coeur d’Alene prohibits fireworks on public property including docks.

The Spokane Tribal Police Department also announced a fireworks ban across tribal land on June 3.

A similar suspension on Friday for the remainder of 2024.
