SPOKANE, Wash. – A woman has died after being hit by a car in downtown Spokane Tuesday afternoon.
The crash took place at the intersection of North Browne Street and West Main and closed off the adjacent roads for over an hour.
According to the Spokane Police Department (SPD), she sustained life threatening injuries and later died from her wounds at the hospital.
Police have yet to find the vehicle responsible for the incident. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233.
