CHENEY, Wash. – The City of Cheney is gearing up for summer as they begin operations for a brand-new aquatic center set to open June of 2025.
The new center will feature a large pool house, a community meeting room, a six-lane lap pool, a zero-depth entry pool, a lazy river, and a water slide.
The City of Cheney’s Mayor Office will hold a ceremony to celebrate the announcement of the center on Thursday at the Hagelin Park at 11 a.m.
The construction is expected to begin in the next couple of weeks with team coordination already underway.
