Spokane Falls Community College in lockdown after nearby shooting

SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Falls Community College (SFCC) is in lockdown while Spokane police search for a shooting suspect.

The Spokane Police Department responded to multiple reports of shots fired in the 1900 block of North Holy Name at 2:42 p.m. on June 14. SFCC confirmed the school is in lockdown while the Spokane Police Department search for a suspect.

SPD is asking you to please avoid the area as this is an active investigation. SPD said a young group was in the parking lot and dispersed after the shooting. Officers could be looking for multiple suspects.
