LIBERTY LAKE, Wash. – A crash near Liberty Lake on I-90, which left two people injured, resulted in a slowdown of eastbound traffic on Friday afternoon.
According to Washington State Patrol (WSP), three cars were involved in the crash and at least one person was extricated from their vehicle with potentially serious injuries.
The incident took place just under the Liberty Lake Overpass where a Flag Day event supporting former president Donald Trump was taking place.
Attendees of the event mostly cleared from the overpass as emergency responders arrived at the scene of the crash.
WSP reported that both injured people were taken to the hospital, attributing the cause of the accident to speeding and inattention.
