SPOKANE, Wash. – An event honoring the environmental theme of Expo ‘74 will include a wine and beer tasting.
Entitled “Sips for Sustainability,” the event will promote sustainable agriculture by highlighting Inland Northwest farmers and brewers.
Administrative Coordinator Teresa Hughbanks looks forward to the opportunity to promote local sustainable businesses.
“You don’t have to go out of your way to find great wine and beer made sustainably – we have so many of these amazing wineries and breweries right here in our backyard,” Hughbanks said.
Proceeds will go to Salmon Safe, a Pacific Northwest organization that works with farmers to promote safe agriculture practices to preserve regional watersheds.
