CARLTON, Wash. — Level 1 “Be Ready” evacuations have been called out for residents in Carlton.
According to Okanogan County Emergency Management, a fire is active around State Route 153 and Gold Creek Loop Road (North End). Residents are advised to be cautious and aware of emergency vehicles traveling through the area.
Officials are asking people not to wait for door-to-door alerts and to take action if needed. Emergency Management is monitoring the situation.
