SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Fire Department (SFD) and the Spokane Police Department (SPD) responded to a body floating down the Spokane River Monday morning.
SPD said they responded to reports of the body floating downriver near the Division Street Bridge around 11 a.m.
SFD recovered the body from the river and the SPD major crimes unit are investigating the death.
The identity of the person has not been released.
