All evacuations dropped to Level 1(“Be Ready”) for Beehive Fire near Wenatchee

WENATCHEE, Wash. – Level 1 evacuations (Be Ready) have been issued for areas near Squilchuck Road from Pitcher Canyon to Wenatchee Heights roads.

UPDATE 2:55 P.M.

Level 2 evacuations (Be Set) have been issued for the area of Squichuck Road between Hampton Road and Wenatchee Heights, Hampton Road and Halvorson Canyon Road.

Level 3 evacuations are still issued along Squilchuck Road, from Hampton Road and up road.

An evacuation shelter has been established at Sage Hills Church on 1601 5th Street according to Chelan County Emergency Management.

UPDATE 2:33 P.M.

The Chelan County Sheriff’s Office has issued evacuation orders for areas near the Beehive Fire west of Wenatchee.

According to the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office, a Level 3 fire evacuation order has been issued for the following areas: Squilchuck Road south of Wenatchee Heights, Halverson Canyon, Hampton Road, Forest Ridge Road and side streets, all of Mission Ridge Road, Liberty Beehive Road, Mission Ridge Resort and Squilchuck State Park.

According to the Washington Department of Natural Resources, a Level 3 evacuation order means “GO NOW” — you are in immediate danger. Even if you do not see the danger, follow your evacuation plan and leave immediately. Delays could cost lives. If you stay, rescue may not be possible.
