Police release photo of suspects’ car in BB gun shooting incident in Airway Heights

AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. – The Airway Heights Police Department has released a photo of the car believed to have been driven by two suspects who allegedly shot several people, including children, with a BB gun.

, the two men are suspected of firing BB guns at primarily young people around 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 3.

The incident prompted responses from the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office and Kalispel Tribal Police to South Lawson Street and West 8th Ave (Sunset Park) following reports of the shooting. Witnesses described the suspects as two men wearing white ski masks, driving a red Nissan Altima or Maxima with a possible out-of-state license plate.

“This is an ongoing investigation,” stated the police department, urging residents with home surveillance cameras in the vicinity of South Horton Street/West 4th Avenue or South Lawson Street between West 8th Ave and West 6th Avenue to review footage from 12:57 PM to 1:15 PM on July 3.
