SPOKANE, Wash. – The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) has announced the closure of the south roundabout at the North Spokane Corridor.
The closure will start on Monday, July 15, at 7 a.m. and will continue until Saturday, Aug. 3. During this time, WSDOT crews will remove the current driving surface and replace it with concrete, which WSDOT says will provide a more durable and smoother driving experience.
The closure of the south roundabout will begin at the southern edge of the north roundabout and extend south to Francis Avenue. Local businesses will have access from Francis Avenue up to the south roundabout. Northbound access will be redirected using a signed detour: heading west on East Francis Avenue, then north on North Market Street, and reconnecting to North Freya Street.
