OKANOGAN COUNTY, Wash. — A man was injured after being struck by a car on State Highway 17 and was airlifted to a hospital.
According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), the man, a 59-year-old from Spokane Valley, was walking southbound on State Route 17 near milepost 138 when he was hit by a car. WSP reported that the man was lying on the right shoulder of the road and was subsequently airlifted to a nearby hospital.
WSP stated they have not yet identified the car or the driver that hit the man.
